Patricia Dunn-Walker Fine Art

Paradise Center for the Arts will be hosting a show of my work along with the work of metal sculptor Karl Friedrich.

The show will be open August 11 (we are installing next week) until September 27. Karl's work can also be seen on his Instagram page #karlfriedrich and has been exhibited at Franconia sculpture park near the Twin Cities. My work is shown at SEMVA gallery in Rochester and Rochester Art Center. Check out more of my work at www.patriciadunnwalker.com or on Instagram, patriciadunnwalker. Our opening reception is August 15, 5-7PM at PCA in Faribault, 321 Central Avenue N.

"Rochester Looking at Climate Change" was on view at Rochester Art Center September 9, 2022 through January 22, 2023.  Over two dozen artists were brought together by artist Layne Noser to help the public visualize climate change, process reactions to climate change and define steps that we can each take to offset the effects of climate change. Recent events such as Hurricane Ian and widespread wildfires and droughts have become more severe and frequent. In addition to viewing this exhibit other events such as panel discussions and art classes were held to educate the public on climate change.

This past November, 2022 in conjunction with the "Rochester Looks at Climate Change" exhibit I taught a collage class. The students were 28 very enthusiastic and creative Girl Scouts. First we took a tour of the Climate Change exhibit and then got to work creating collages inspired by work in the exhibit.  Rochester Art Center often offers classes in connection with their current exhibits. Check their website for current offerings at rochesterartcenter.org. You may also contact me for private lessons in collage and painting or for a special event such as a birthday party through email on this website.
